Drake Landing Offers a Great Bird Hunting Experience!

Upland Hunting is available Seven Days a Week from Late-October through mid-March (Weather Permitting)!  

• A North Carolina Hunting License or NC Preserve License is required before arrival to hunt with us. For more information, please click the link below.  
• RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL UPLAND HUNTS.
• Reservations can be made by calling the Drake Landing office at 919-552-9455. Ask for Marsha. 
• A 50% Non-refundable Deposit is required upon booking.
• ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Hunt dates will be confirmed upon receipt of the 50% Non-refundable deposit.
• Final payment is due the day of the hunt upon check-in

• ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Cancellations due to weather will be determined solely by Drake Landing.  Drake Landing will work with you prior to arrival for any weather cancellations and may rebook within the current season.  No Hunts will be rescheduled into next season.
• Cancellations must be received 10 days prior to the scheduled hunt and may be rebooked within the current season.  No Hunts will be rescheduled into the next season.
• Drake Landing will charge a $250 Rebooking fee for any cancellation received within 10 days of the scheduled hunt.
• If Drake Landing cancels your hunt due to weather, No rebooking fee will be charged for hunts scheduled for the current season.

Any of the following rules that are not followed will be grounds to end the hunt with no refund.  

1. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded even after you have determined it is unloaded. 
2. Never point the firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.
3. Keep your finger straight and off of the trigger until you are on your target ready to fire. 
4. If your firearm has a safety, keep the safety engaged until you are ready to fire. 
5. Know your target and always consider its background.
6. Blaze orange will be required as outlined by North Carolina state law mandates.
7. Any dog shot by a hunter will cost the hunter a minimum of $7,500.00 plus vet bills.
8. If any Drake Landing personnel feels that their lives, the customer's lives, or the dogs' lives are in danger the hunt will immediately end and no refunds will be given.
