Welcome to Strategic Armor

Strategic Armor specializes in various firearms training from Private Lessons, Introductory Basic Pistol Course, Women's Only Courses, and the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Course, as well as, focusing on your security needs from site assessments to emergency response. Our firearm courses are designed to help you feel comfortable and confident when carrying and operating a handgun, while also ensuring that you have a legal understanding of the process. We conduct these courses at Drake Landing in Fuquay Varina, a safe and professional range. Our team aims to provide top-notch customer service that is both timely and efficient.

Concerned about the weather? The classes are held in a climate-controlled classroom, and during inclement weather, the firearm training portion will be held in a covered range.

Why do we use outdoor ranges? Indoor ranges can be noisy, crowded, and intimidating for those using a firearm for the first time. Our private outdoor range allows you to learn with a small group of classmates and receive our instructors' attention.

Private Lessons

If you have never handled or have limited experience with a firearm, it is highly recommended that you book a private lesson with one of our North Carolina Certified Firearm Instructors. Our goal is to make sure that you are confident in your ability to safely handle and operate your firearm. North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Course

The Concealed Carry Handgun Course is a one-day course that is taught by Certified North Carolina Concealed Carry Instructors. Our instructors have over 60 years of military and law enforcement experience. The course is 8-9 hours with approximately 2 1/2-3 hours of legal block instruction as well as handgun safety and marksmanship in accordance with NC (G.S. 14-269). We provide everything that you will need for the course, including a light lunch and bottled water. You will not find a more comprehensive and informative course.

North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Course

Introductory Basic Pistol Course

The Introductory Basic Pistol Training course is a one-on-one course designed to provide a comfortable learning experience and introduce the fundamentals of owning a firearm. The four-hour course will cover safety guidelines, storage, and how to safely handle and operate a firearm including loading and unloading, and marksmanship and range time. At the end of the course, our students will have the confidence and skills needed to safely handle and operate their firearm.
